There is currently a vacancy available for the post of Dyslexia Lecturer within the Student Services department.
This is a part time, established post for 17.5 hours a week, 52 weeks a year based at our Queen’s Gardens site.
The post holder will assess and support students engaged on a range of programmes and courses across the College. In addition the Dyslexia team supports students in H.E. and externally funded programmes.
The post holder will need to be innovative and have the ability to work using their own initiative. The position requires flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment. The ability to inspire learners is essential as well as the ability to work as part of a well-established and stable team of professionals.
Applicants must have a recognised dyslexia qualification suitable for assessing students for dyslexia.
Applicants must also be educated to degree level and have a relevant teaching qualification.
