We currently have a vacancy available for the post of Learning Support Assistant.
This is a part time role based at our Goole site, for 24.5 hours per week, 36 weeks per year and the Salary will be £9,684 - £10,004 per annum.
The post holder will provide a high quality and confidential customer-focussed support service to students with additional learner support needs, working closely with the wider student services department to ensure the service meets the needs of students. All additional support will be provided in line with the ALS Agreement, and will include support, in and out of class, including some areas of personal assistance.
The Learning Support Assistant will work alongside tutors to provide additional support within a managed classroom environment.
Key responsibilities will be to monitor support arrangements and record and report changes/ incidents to the Team Leader. The LSA will work collaboratively to meet the needs of students who have identified learning needs.
Applicants must have a Minimum of a Level 2 IT or equivalent qualification. GCSE English and Maths grade C or above and a Level 2 Supported Learning qualification is also desirable.
