Hull College Group is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.
We are looking to appoint a Technician in 3D where you will provide technical support for Teaching staff and Instructor Demonstrators. This is a permanent part time position, working 11 hours per week, for 40 weeks per year (term time) based at our Hull Campus.
Within the role you will support student learning and will provide a safe working environment. Preparing equipment and materials for students within the practical workspace environment, you will maintain stock and stores in an efficient manner, and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of many workshop tools and equipment.
We are looking for someone who has recent and relevant experience of 3D, coupled with a knowledge and understanding of various qualifications within this area. With Maths and English to Level 3 and an NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject, you will be able to motivate students and will have excellent communication skills.
You will also need to have extensive experience within a joinery environment, in using machinery and maintaining it.
